Congratulatons Peter on your London Marathon Success!
We spoke to our very own London Marathon runner, Pete Reid, last week:
"The whole day was brilliant. The crowds along the route were amazing, particularly at the charity cheer points, where they made lots of noise!”
"My wife, daughter and son were all there on the course to cheer me along which helped make the day even more special."
His official time was 4:07:40 and when
Pete checked his total number of steps
for the day, he'd done 56,201!
To date Pete has raised over £1,700.00 for Children with Cancer UK – “I’ve been really overwhelmed by the generosity of family, friends and work colleagues – a massive thank you to everyone that has supported and sponsored me”
He completed the run on 23rd April - his fifth London Marathon before hitting the big 50.
Pete says he's not running any more Marathons. He's done.
Hmm.....we'll see.
Congratulations Pete, from all your colleagues at GfA!
Best wishes,
