The LZR® -Widescan sensor uses laser technology based on time of flight analysis. More than just a sensor, the Widescan optimises the doors performance whilst also increasing the protection of the door.
7 Key Points you need to know about the BEA LZR® -Widescan:
- Independent customisable activation and presence fields can be programmed to specific dimensions and requirements within the permissible range of the sensor. The sensor should be mounted as high as possible - the area of the maximum detection field depends on the mounting height (ratio = 1 x 1 x 1). By generating 7 tilted laser curtains, the sensor creates a volumetric area in front of the door, providing an area of surveillance.
- Employs laser technology for accurate mapping of activation areas (motion and presence).
- The sensor can be set up to detect vehicles and pedestrians more accurately, determining their size, direction, and speed. This helps to optimise the doors performance, reducing unnecessary usage.
- The easy-to-use BEA Widescan app allows Bluetooth sensor set-up. During set-up and for general use, the app will display illustrations of the activation and presence fields on your mobile device allowing unique customisation for your specific site needs.
- Includes functionality to fit up to 3 Virtual Pull Cords - an alternative to mechanical pull cords that avoids the many touch points you may find in industrial facilities.
- With the same areas of functionality as the Condor Sensor, the laser technology of the LZR® -Widescan offers improved effectiveness during adverse weather conditions, including rain, snow and fog. It also offers a number of improvements and additional functionality, including an enhanced version of the cross-traffic filtering, available with other BEA sensors.
- The sensors can be used both internally and externally, providing versatility for industrial settings.
There's so much more to the LZR® - Widescan...
In the coming months we will be exploring further the unique functionalities of the LZR® - Widescan, demonstrating the benefits of its technology and how it can problem solve and add value in real life applications.
