GfA drives for single phase supply

20 September 2018

With the KE 40.40 Fi you can have smooth and fast opening, coupled with reliability on chain driven doors up to 7500mm x 7500mmm. Take a look:

KE 40.40 Fi - Key Facts

Output torque: 400 Nm
Output speed: 9-40 rpm
Output shaft (Ø): 40 mm
Manual operation options: ▪ Emergency hand crank NHK ▪ Hand chain operator KNH
Limit switch options: ▪ Digital limit switch DES
Where only a single phase supply exists the KE 40.40 Fi version provides an industrial duty cycle with the added benefit of faster door opening times. The built-on frequency inverter offers the advantage of individually adjustable output speed with soft start as well as soft stop, reducing stress on the chain mechanism.

As with all our KE drives the door is driven via chain-transmission. To prevent doors falling back a safety brake of the appropriate size is required. In combination with GfA door controls TS 970, TS 971 or TS 981.
The KE drives for chain driven doors are not the only solution for single-phase locations, we also offer Safedrives® (SI) and our SE range.

With the SE (Ranger) FI drives you can have smooth, fast opening coupled with reliability on sectional doors and chain or gear driven rolling shutters. The rolling shutters can either be non-counter balanced with separate safety brake or counter balanced. In combination with GfA door controls TS 970, TS 971 or TS 981, the built-on frequency inverter offers the advantage of individually adjustable output speed with soft start/stop.
For either sectional doors or rolling shutters requiring fast opening and closing the new Ranger 90 Fi (featured in last month’s newsletter) and 91 Fi are ideal.
