Whether you manufacture, supply or fit sectional doors the benefits of the GfA range of products are hard to ignore.

GfA has a drive and control solution for every sectional door type, speed and environment. Unique features of the range mean that common sectional door operational issues are anticipated and resolved.

Key features of the GfA range:

Simple to fit and service - the drive is able to be mounted either vertically or horizontally to suit location.  A robust low-level hand chain system is fitted as standard with optional declutching gear boxes for applications where quick access in the event of a power failure is essential (fire stations, for example). With limits set from floor level and full diagnostic read out set up and servicing is possible from floor level, without the need for additional access equipment.

Built-in safety features which will shut the door down into safe mode if problems are detected including load monitoring preventing persons or objects being lifted by the door.

Automatic ground clearance adjustment on our TS 970 & 971 control panels (with OSE safety edge) accommodates cable stretch and adjusts the door finish position to take up cable slack, increasing safety and reducing the need to return to site.

Built-in overrun facility (with OSE safety edge) monitors the stopping position of the drive and adjusts accordingly, making the door safer and reducing call-outs over the life of the door.

Full range for all sizes of counterbalanced doors and applications – torque ranges from 50 Nm up to 140 Nm and drive speeds from 15 to 80 rpm (Fi).

Solutions for rapid action and high usage doors - the fast-acting Fi range will allow doors to open quickly thus increasing door efficiency and saving on energy costs. This range comes complete with integrated inverters, providing fast opening with soft start and stop thus preventing cable jump. Our range also includes un-sprung drive and control packages for high usage doors.

Drives for extreme conditions, increased safety formats include ATEX rated drives and controls for use in environments with a potentially explosive atmosphere and IP65i rated drives for harsh environments where water or vapour ingress could cause problems.
