ATEX accolade for tech team member Tim

28 November 2018

GfA Electrical Engineer Tim Drysch is the latest GfA employee to complete the ATEX Hazardous Area Principles training course.
Tim, alongside Robert Booth and Peter Reid, can now advise customers on door drive and control solutions for a wide range of environments from whiskey distilleries, to spray booths and sewage treatment plants, in fact any location where potentially flammable or explosive materials are present.
Any electrical equipment used where combustible fumes, vapour and/or dust are present must conform to the ATEX equipment directive by having no sources of ignition. Our team are trained to help you understand the levels of risk, and to select the correct ATEX drive and controls. They can also advise on the right questions to ask your customers about how areas will be used.

If your customer has hazardous materials on site, please call our technical sales team on 01926 452452, option 2. They’ll give you qualified advice on the right drives and controls to suit your needs.
